*September 11th*
2001, the 11of September,
A plane crashed in to the world trade center.
18 minutes later, building two
Got hit by another, what do we do?
It is no longer an accident, which we thought at first,
This attack on our country is by far the worst.
Thousands of people fear at this time,
What has been done? A hostile crime.
We do not understand what is in store,
What will come next, war?
As President Bush said, "make no mistake about it",
We will resolve this, we shall stand united."
We pray for the lives of others,
Our Friends, Relatives, even Fathers or Mothers.
And as the world waits for what is to come,
We will go on stronger by what has been done.

Many people killed with no knife nor gun
Men without the will to keep on living
Killed thousands, and thought they were giving
It was early morning in NYC
When the men flew planes into The Twin Towers you see
First the North, then South
People running open mouthed
Many died heros, didn't even think twice
trying to save people they were quite nice
America has been attacked, we are now united,
The Spirit of America will Endure!
RIP ALL VICTIMS!
POEM SUBMITED 10/7/01"Terrorist attacks on America"
A different world from ours it seems
People have different hopes and dreams
Please don't lets those dreams be bad
Please don't be so violent and mad
Please don't turn your anger to hate
Hate is what brought disaster the date
Of September 11th 2001
Some angry people thought to have some fun
They'd crash some planes and put people in fear
That the end of their freedom was very near
Many died and many injured left behind
Many families of every kind
So many children and so many wives
Had daddys and husbands that lost their lives
Many people's lives were lost
It may be it's our freedom's cost
But please don't let this happen again
For with hate it all began
Hate destoys..or so they say
Everyone was aware of it that fateful day
So before your anger turns to hate
Think about what happened the date
Of September 11 2001
When some hate filled people thought they'd have some fun

United States of America,
The Red, White, and Blue.
Stars and Stripes on the flag,
It's all very true.
There are 50 states,
and Washington DC.
America the Beautiful,
the land of the free.
Before September 11th,
U.S. was a happier place.
There were two tall buildings,
Now ashes are in their space.
Many more people were alive.
Now they are missing and wanting to survive.
Everyone has been affected,
Deep down inside.
It's brought us all together,
and now we have great pride!

POEM SUBMITED 10/27/01Tragedy
If i could take back a second in time,
i would take back destruction and crime.
People living in a hatefull place,
being afraid to be judged b\c of your race.
September 11th affected us all,
but now we need to be brave and stand tall.
They thought it would destroy us but it brought us close,
we came together when we need each other the most.
People helping and giving a hand,
soldiers getting ready to fight for our land.
A war is comming who would have thought?
Our children will be brought up different and have to be taught.
Hopefully everything will have to change,
and then our world will no longer be strange.
POEM SUBMITTED 11/4/01This tragedy is terrible
everything unbearable
people died
and others cried
losing loved ones
or your life
this is sad and
very bad
we did nothing to make them mad
but now we know what they can do and
if we stick together we can fight this through.
POEM SUMBITED 09/15/01~Never Saw it Coming~
We never saw it coming
and it stays in our mind to this day.
The very tragic incident
That happened on That Tuesday.
On the eleventh of September
Is when America had changed
When we were suddenly struck
Now we will never be the same
We may have lost many lives
But we have also grown stronger
Our nation my tremble a little today
But we'll stand together.
For the family of those who died
on that depressing day.
Your loved ones will always be remembered.
And in our hearts they will stay.
GOD BLESS AMERICA.
POEM SUBMITTED 11/12/01*WE WILL REMEMER*
WE WILL REMEMBER
THAT DAY IN SEPTEMBER
WHEN WE HEARD THE HORRIBLE NEWS.
THE TWINS, THEY FELL
AND MANY TO TELL
THAT THEY HAD LOST THEIR LOVED ONES.
WHERE WERE YOU WHEN YOU HEARD?
WHERE YOU AT HOME SAFE IN YOUR BED?
WHERE YOU ON THE TRAIN
TO COME TO WORK?
WHERE YOU ON THE HIJACKED PLANES?
WHENEVER WE SEE THE PICTURES
OF THE TWO BEAUTIES,
WE HAVE SADNESS IN OUT HEATRS
FOR WE TOO HAVE LOST TWO LOVED ONES
BUT THE LOVED ONES WILL NOT BE LOST.
WE WILL REMEMBER!
