*September 11th 2001*
As The Planes Went Crashing
On That Horrible Day
People Were Watching And People Prayed
People Were Wondering How Could This Be?
Why Was Osama Terrorizing Me?
Everyone Is Now In Devastation
Trying To Get Over This Terrorization
As We Come Together All As One
We Wont Give Up We've Just Begun
There's A Battle We're Going To Fight
But In The Ends Its Going To Be All Right
Years From Now We Will Remember
The Horror We Went Through That September

POEM SUBMITED 8/31/02

September 11
tears are cried by the people below,
as they saw the building being hit.
screams are heard by people in their houses,
as the tv showed the other one.
people want to find out if loved ones have survived.
No.
None.
all contact lost.
the lives of so many lost by a few minutes,
plus more as time went by.
hearts are heard aching with pain,
on september 11.

POEM SUMBITED 8/14/02

September 11, 2001
Brought pain and torture to everyone
19 young men
Had a duty to fill
One thing on mind 'To kill and kill.'
The ashes covered us like a giant cape.'
Our lives played back on that tape
Two headed for New York, one for DC
People not knowing what may be
Planes will crash, people will die
Everything'll be gone in the blink of an eye.
On the plane,
People seemed to think about the same.
They realized that this wasn't a game,
They had to do something,
And it had to be soon.
They got all together
And ended the doom
That September day of gloom.

~*Tears of Strength*~
We all remember that gloomy September day,
When everything happened in all the wrong ways.
Thousands of innocent people died,
Millions more watched and cried.
We stared and the scene disbeliefly and in horror,
As the television showed pictures over and over.
We waited for the list of who survived,
Staring, trying to find if our relatives were still alive.
No one will ever forget that September day.
But the terrorists failed.
They aren't going to win by anthrax in the mail.
We AMERICANS came together,
Forever and stronger than ever.
We all joined our STURDY hands,
To show our STRENGTH for our family, friends and land.
We AMERICANS will not back away.
We get stronger with every dawning day.
We will continue to fight,
With our might for what is right.
We will not loose this war,
So let the RED, WHITE, and BLUE soar!
Let the eagle fly,
Into the victorious sky.
And don't ever forget to cry.
Cry to endless lengths,
For those are your tears of strength!

"Looking Back"
September 11 was a tragic day,
thousands of souls were taken away.
For many, it was their time to die,
for their families, a time to cry.
We thank those heroes who won our war.
America will stand with her head up high
now, and forever more.

POEM SUBMITTED 9/05/02

On September 11th 2001
the lives of our people were no longer fun.
For many that morning were no longer alive
and many more others would no longer survive.
Many in airplanes and in buildings around
were praying for life while they heard dreaful sound.
Planes had crashed into our famous Twin Towers
and the cries and the screams seemd to go on for hours.
Some people were trapped in the towers up high
and others were stuck inside planes in the sky.
The towers were burning and were goin to fall
and many wouldn't make it out of the buildings at all.
The firemen and police did all they could
but the damage was done and over for good.
When everyone thought the crashes were done
another plane crashed into tower # 1.
The victims were jumping one after another
hugging and saying goodbye to each other.
People on cell phones called home one last time
to say bye to the loved ones they were leaving behind.
As their lives are now over forever and more
We remeber those people who died in this war.
We reward those others who are considered a hero
who helped save the lives of the people from ground zero.
Even though many friends and families have gone
our thoughts will be with them as time passes on.
With our deep losses we will turn out alright
And next time this happens will be ready to fight!

POEM SUMBITED 6/16/02

mommy said that I will be with you
some other day
in an another place far from here
Im waiting untill that day
then I will see you everyday
like I use to and when I get there
I want a big hug and smile like I use to
why did you go away...
you dont have to tell me
mommy already did
she said it was two planes
of god telling people
that he was lonly
and he wanted you to go with him
Im waiting

I'm thinking, painful words, thoughts
makes me crumble
I bottle up inside not wanting to cry
tears swelling in my eyes ready to fall down
Ii try to hold it, truing to think
but no one can save me from the truth no one can lie
the truth is painful don't deny
what happened to the world makes me wanna cry
all those lives lost so young not ready to die
I hope those people live in peace in God
I pray for their families on the day the world cried
Im scared in terror of what had happened
I try not to cry
God bless the families, souls and people who were affected on the day the world cried
it was a nightmare but reality
God bless the souls of September 11
